Government

The oligarchy republic of VanBradyland is very well structured on the subject of decision making. The people vote on other people to maybe become a part of the general council. The 'maybe' is because a nominee for the general council has to gain the approval of the elite council. The elite council consists of General-Governor Lemem Oglei himself, the top scientist, and some other notable people. The elite council takes the opinion to the general council and may act on it, even though technically the elite council can do whatever it wants. This being said, there really are no political parties. The elite council also is in charge of punishing wrong-doers as they see fit. The punishment could be anything from the normal spending time in prison, to having to spend a day inside a spinach-flavored jello cube (if the council is in a good mood, the victim is allowed to eat their way out.) The public is informe3d of things like this and others via television, newspapers, radio, etcetera. Same way people are informed here in America. Unlike America, though, Vanbradyland is ruled under the Document of Prosperity. All this is a formal looking piece of paper with snazzy language on it basically saying that freedom and individuality is encouraged and that the elite council rules everything. Children are taught this, problem solving, art, science, reading, and math at school.
